LMC MAHE RAMADHAN ACTIVITIES

This year 2024, Mahe Ramadhan started with a bang!! It commenced with great excitement as everyone eagerly prepared to serve their Lord with enthusiasm and spirit. Lots of exciting yet spiritually informative activities were held at the Ladies section:

A)   HOLY QURAN DARSA

As every year, we have several benches where Holy Quran is beautifully recited. One on the ground floor for seniors, several benches on the 1st floor for the general crowd and a Madrasah section for kids and Madrasah students. We completed about 5 rounds of Holy Quran this holy month on the Ladies Side.

B)   MUMMY & ME SESSION

2nd to 8th night of Mahe Ramadhan, we held an interesting session for Mothers & Children aged 3 to 7 years. This was in collaboration with Hidayat Workshop and Babul Ilm Library. Some of the topics discussed were Golden Pot of Kindness, Animal in the Holy Quran, Bucket Filler (Kindness Fillers) and Dua’a for Imam Zamana (ATFS) with meaning.

C)   DAILY MOMTIVATION

During lecture time, children aged 3 to 6 years were engaged in a variety of fun filled activities. They had the opportunity to create lanterns, symbolic of the blessed month of Ramadhan, and crafted bookmarks to use during their recitation of the Holy Quran. Additionally, they watched videos about Bibi Khadija (AS), made Sadqa tins and expressed gratitude by creating cards that said “ALHAMDULILLAH” for the blessings in their lives.

Even the younger children, under the age of 3 years, were not left out. They enjoyed playing with blocks, creating patterns with buttons and participating in memory games.

D)   HOLY QURAN JOURNALING

Like last year, this year once again due to public demand, Aalima Urooj Zahra Naqvi held the Tadabbur (Holy Quran Journaling) sessions most Mahe Ramadhan Nights from 8 to 9 PM. It was based on Surah Luqman. Methods used to convey were detailed commentary, visual presentation, discussions and Q/A sessions. A few topics connected to the Chapter that were thoroughly discussed:

–   Tips on Child upbringing in the light of Hazrat Luqman to his son.

–   Signs of Allah (SWT) in ourselves and the Universe.

–   Logic evidence of Resurrection.
