SMASH 2025 – Daytona, Florida 🏆
Held over three thrilling days at the renowned Pictona at Holly Hill, the tournament featured over 1,100 games and welcomed 225 participants from across North America and beyond, including players from Atlanta, New York, Toronto, Orlando, Colorado, and Dar es Salaam.
Participant Breakdown:
- Men: 120
- Women: 42
- Senior Men: 10
- Senior Women: 10
Men’s Doubles Teams:
- 60 groups participated, with 20 advanced and 40 intermediate teams.
- Each group played 20 round-robin matches, followed by knockout rounds leading to the finals.
🏅 Champions from Dar es Salaam
We are proud to announce that Br. Hussein Dewji and Br. Mohammed Murtaza Chandoo successfully defended their championship title, marking their second consecutive win at SMASH. Their dedication and teamwork are truly commendable.
We would also like to acknowledge the outstanding performance of Sister Fatema Hussein Dewji, one of the standout participants in the ladies’ division. Her dedication and skill led her all the way to the semifinal rounds.
