The Mehfil e Abbas (AS) Gents Volunteering Team recently celebrated the 75th birthday of their fellow volunteer, Alhajj Zulfikar Bhai Ladha.
As the most senior volunteer in the team, Zulfikar Bhai, originally from Tanga, has dedicated a significant portion of his life to community service. He spent over 10 years volunteering in Tanga and has now been serving in Dar es Salaam for more than 20 years.
Despite his age, Zulfikar Bhai remains incredibly committed to his duties. He never misses any occasion, whether it’s the regular Friday majlis or other events. He always arrives on time and stays until the end to offer his services, only requesting to leave once everything is complete. His dedication extends to assisting with the preparation of morning tea at the mosque, which is served after the morning prayers.
The team prays to Allah SWT to grant him and his family good health, strength, happiness, and a long life. May he continue his outstanding service to the community, Ameen.
