The month of Muharram holds special significance in our Islamic calendar, marked by solemn commemorations and reflection on the teachings and values of Imam Hussein (AS). During this time, Ithna Asheri Union and its boards engage in a range of voluntary activities to honor the memory of historical events, promote unity, and extend support towards our communities.

The voluntary efforts made by IU and its boards stand as a testament to the enduring influence of Imam Hussein’s principles of sacrifice, justice, and compassion.

Our heartfelt gratitude extends to our dedicated KSIJ Scouts, who played an integral role in bringing the Kerbala Project to life. Their contribution to the project and their assistance in various services exemplified the unity and collaboration that defines our community.
