Al Haj Mustafa Abdulrasul Rajabali Alidina

Al Haj Mustafa Abdulrasul Rajabali Alidina was born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on April 4th, 1944. He was the son of the late Marhum Abdulrasul and Maruhma Noorbanu. He attended Bunge School for his primary education and Shabaan Robert for his secondary education.
During his lifetime, he had two children, a son, and a daughter. Tragically, in the year 1995, his eldest son, Aqeel Alidina, was shot and passed away at the age of 24. Subsequently, his wife also passed away, and he remarried in 2007.
From a young age, Mustafa had a keen interest in acquiring knowledge about religion. He actively participated in various community activities, including welfare initiatives, marriage ceremonies, mayyit services, and nyaz events. He possessed fluency in several languages, namely English, Swahili, Kutchi, Urdu, Arabic, and Persian.
He dedicated his services to mayyit until 2010, and over time, he utilized his knowledge to teach other members of our community. Mustafa was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever possible. He organized an eye camp to assist those in need and delivered lectures at the madressa.
Al Haj Mustafa was renowned for his humble and modest lifestyle, his amiable personality, and his sincere commitment to the welfare of the community. Sadly, at the age of 75, he passed away in India due to a heart attack.
Testimonial from his wife:
“I can attest to my husband’s unwavering dedication to uplifting the jamaat and his honesty in all endeavors. He would readily shoulder responsibility when needed, and his absence will undoubtedly impact many who were fortunate to know him and experience his compassion for the community. As his wife, I can say that Mustafa was incredibly humble, caring, soft-hearted, and extremely responsible.”
