Zakaat al-Fitr is an essential charitable obligation due at the end of Ramadhan. The payment should be made between the night of Eid and before Zohrain on Eid day.
This year, we are collecting Zakaat al-Fitr with the following rates per person:
- Pishori Rice – Tsh 16,500/-
- Mbeya Rice – Tsh 9,000/-
- Wheat – Tsh 9,000/-
- Dates – Tsh 24,000/-
📍 Payment Methods:
Boxes are placed in the Gents Mosque compound, or payments can be made at the Jamaat Office from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM starting from 27th Ramadhan.
